The eternity of the universe is symbolized by the endless ocean.   Steps lead down out of the ocean onto the plain on which sits the figure of a young man holding a chain.   He is thinking about human joy and suffering, human passion and love.   The chain that he holds symbolizes the imprisoned human mind to the material world, and his dependency on desire.   The chains softly transform into the clouds leading out into the planet inhabited by humanity.   Who is this figure? . . . “I am part of the power which forever wills evil and forever works good.”
